It is all about YOU!

Imagine achieving the same results as traditional cosmetic surgery without the need for scalpels, stitches, or downtime. With the Plexr Plasma soft surgery system, you can do just that! This innovative technology was first launched in Europe in 2012 by the GMV Group, a leading manufacturer based in Italy. And now, in 2019, it has debuted in the US.

Plexr is a non-invasive alternative to traditional surgical procedures, which means less time spent recovering and fewer complications to worry about. Whether you want to rejuvenate your skin, reduce wrinkles, revise scars, or even undergo eyelid surgery, Plexr can help you achieve your desired results with minimal discomfort and downtime. So why choose surgery when you can choose Plexr?

What can be treated

Plexr has a wide range of therapeutic uses, treating several imperfections without actual skin cutting. It can be used for:

  • Eyelid reconstruction (non-surgical blepharoplasty), including resolving baggy lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.

  • Tattoo removal.

  • Skin imperfections and benign lesions include warts, fibromas, pigmentation, and sun spots.

  • Improvement in the appearance of scarring, including post-surgery scars, acne scars, and stretch marks.

  • It enhances lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

  • Facelift and neck lift.

  • Active acne.

How long does it last?

PLEXR treatment involves the removal of skin, making it more than a simple tightening treatment. While the effects of surgical and cosmetic procedures are not entirely permanent due to aging, the positive results of PLEXR treatment should last for years rather than months. However, factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure can reduce the length of the beneficial effects. Additionally, the longevity of the results can be influenced by race and genetics. Your consultation can provide further information.

Side effects & Risks

Although PLEXR is a non-invasive treatment and is considered safe, patients may experience minor side effects within the first seven days after treatment. Brown marks resembling minor scabs, called carbon crusts, will appear, falling off after around five days to reveal new pink skin underneath. In some cases, swelling may occur, particularly when treating eyelids, but typically lasts no more than 3-5 days. To prevent more severe side effects such as hyperpigmentation, it's essential to follow the aftercare regimen recommended by your practitioner.

Contraindications

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid Plexr, similar to other cosmetic procedures. While some darker skin types may be appropriate for the treatment, it is not recommended for individuals with very dark skin due to a higher risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) after treatment, especially if the carbon crust is disturbed by scratching, scrubbing, or picking. It's crucial to consult a healthcare professional or doctor before proceeding with any treatment regime.

Post Treatment Regiment

To ensure the treatment area is cleaned quickly, it's recommended that you avoid wearing makeup on the day of your Plexr treatment. The treatment typically takes 10-40 minutes, depending on the size of the area. An anesthetic cream is applied and left to take effect for around 30 minutes before multiple plasma tip shots are placed closely together in the numb treatment area. You may experience a slightly painful and uncomfortable heat sensation during the procedure. Following treatment, your practitioner will apply a cooling gel to alleviate burning sensations, which should only last a few hours.

Your practitioner will provide you with thorough aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results. They may also provide a specially developed medical foundation to cover and protect the scabbed area from light. Avoid using exfoliating wash or cleanser for at least a week or until the treatment area has fully healed, and instead, opt for a pH-balanced soap and avoid rubbing the area.

While most people can drive safely after their Plexr procedure, avoiding driving is advised if the treatment area is around the eyes due to potential irritation or swelling.

Cost of Treatment

Plexr is a more affordable alternative to cosmetic surgery. Prices for the treatment will vary between clinics, and you can get exact pricing information during a consultation.

Clinical Results

You will notice positive effects immediately after your first Plexr treatment, but the best results are typically seen three weeks after. To achieve maximum beneficial appearance, three treatments are recommended at six-week intervals.
